FHS graduate and educator to speak at commencement

Chastity Jeff

Chastity Jeff will be the featured speaker at the Fayette High School graduation ceremony set for Friday.

A 1997 Fayette graduate herself, Jeff currently serves as an Education Consultant for the Texas Center for Education Effectiveness.

Prior to joining the TxCEE team, Jeff served as a building administrator in school districts in Texas and Missouri. She began her education serving with the Division of Youth Services in the state of Missouri and has worked for several government agencies, nonprofit organizations and school districts ensuring that quality education is provided to all students through effective teacher and leadership development.

She received a bachelor’s degree in ethics and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Central Methodist University. She received her educational doctorate degree in educational leadership from William Woods University. She taught for four years in the Fayette R-III Schools.

Jeff and her husband, Reginald Jeff Jr., have three children.

Jeff coaches her daughters’ volleyball and soccer teams and works with the middle school ministry at her church.
