Editorial notes about March 26 Fayette Advertiser

Two typographical glitches may have confused readers of last Wednesday’s Fayette Advertiser.

The news account from Monday night’s meeting of the New Franklin City Council told of Robby Harvey’s appointment to head the county’s water regionalization effort. However, the first several paragraphs in the story were inadvertently dropped while preparing the Page 1 layout.

That part of the story which was omitted in the paper is published in full on this web site.

Also, last Wednesday’s paper carried a detailed account of Monday night’s forum for Fayette municipal candidates. The story is entirely complete; but the “Continued on Page 6” jump-line was left out. Several readers have told us that they failed to realize that the second-half of the story was on Page 6. The entire piece appeared on this web site.
