THE ROBBY FELTEN family was honored as the 2008 Howard County Farm Family at this year’s Missouri State Fair. Accepting their award here Aug. 11, they are joined by 2008 State Fair Queen Whitney Wallace (right). The Feltens were among 106 Missouri farm families recognized for being active in their community, involved in agricultural activities and participating in local extension educational programs. They operate a cattle, grain and trucking operation here. The award is sponsored by the Missouri Farm Bureau, the Missouri Department of Agriculture, the Missouri State Fair, University of Missouri Extension and the MU College of Agriculture.
