The 1958 Fayette High School class gathered the afternoon of Aug. 2 at Rosewood Antiques for their 50th class reunion. They joined in looking back on what had happened in their lives during the last 50 years.
Memorabilia photos, scrapbooks, yearbooks, two prom dresses, graduation programs and newspaper clippings were shared.
Fully 34 persons were in attendance, with 21 graduates including 11 spouses and two guests. Five deceased members were remembered: Laselea Chandler Simpson, Buddy Pete Kirby, Nathaniel Graves, Betty Omer Estes and Linda Whitlow Huang.
Janet (Farmer) Noland presented two handmade pillows inscribed with FHS and 1958-2008 which were given to the two classmates who traveled the longest distance — Katy (Ricketts) Ziker from Scottsdale, Ariz., and Thomas Lee from Upper Marlboro, Md.

David (Jimmy) Crowley and wife, Donna of Higbee were guests. More than 20 graduates and spouses attended the All School Alumni Dinner at the high school that evening.
