The annual CMU Student Fair marking the start of the fall semester will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Aug. 25, on the Fayette Courthouse Square.
“This is the seventh year we have held the Student Fair,” said Kenneth Oliver, CMU vice president for campus life.
Local and area merchants and all of the CMU student organizations will have space for booths and stands. Additionally, numerous games and activities will be part of the fair again this year.
The fair on the square is an opportunity for students to stop by and meet student organizations as well as Fayette Merchants. CMU students get a chance to enjoy food by CMU merchants and Fresh Ideas and enjoy a variety of novelty acts. All local churches and CMU merchants are more than welcome to participate.
