A New Franklin woman was taken to Cooper County Memorial Hospital Thursday with minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident, allegedly caused by a Boonville teenager.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Daisy P. Brady, 52, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 40 about three miles east of Boonville shortly before 5:30 p.m. A 2005 Ford, driven by Robert R. Morris, 18, apparently crossed the center line and struck Brady’s 2008 Chevrolet.
Brady’s car received extensive damage. Morris’ Ford was totaled. Each driver was wearing a seat belt.
