All material is subject to editing for journalism style, grammar, superfluous verbiage, libel and length. Individuals wishing material printed exactly as submitted (i.e., with no editing) may purchase space at $5.90 a column inch.

Fayette Newspapers, KWRT Radio Provide Cooperative Effort

The Fayette newspapers and KWRT-AM Radio in Boonville (1370 kc) participate five days a week in a joint effort to broaden news coverage in the Boonslick area.

Three times each morning, 6 a.m., 7 a.m., and 9 a.m., Monday through Friday, KWRT's 15-minute morning newscasts (with Ted B.) include a 3-minute "Howard County Report" written and voiced by Jim Steele, editor/publisher of The Democrat - Leader and Fayette Advertiser.
