A train owned by the Kansas City Southern Railway Co. derailed just east of the train bridge crossing the Missouri River in Glasgow.
A loud noise could be heard in Glasgow on Tuesday afternoon, as a train derailed just east of the train bridge crossing the Missouri River.

The train, which is owned by the Kansas City Southern Railway Co., had three cars completely derail from the track and fall over just off the bridge. A fourth car had its front wheels off the track, but stayed upright on the track.

The train was heading west and was getting ready to cross the river. The derailed cars were at about the middle of the train, and the front cars on the train were already on the bridge.

The derailing occurred right as the train was switching over the tracks as it was crossing the bridge right in front of the train depot in Glasgow.
