William G. Cleeton, Jr., of New Franklin, passed away Jan. 26, 2013, at Riverdell Care Center in Boonville. He was 83.
He was born Sept. 18, 1929, to the late William Grover and Calvina Wood Cleeton. On Sept. 26, 1954, he married Martha Brush in Edina, Mo.
Survivors include his wife and longtime caregiver, Martha Cleeton of New Franklin; a son, Gary William (Janet) Cleeton of Salisbury; a daughter, Mary Jane Cleeton of Macon and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin. Visitation was Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
