Franklin Mark Smith, of Lewisville, Texas, formerly of New Franklin and Columbia, passed away Jan. 27, 2013, in Frisco, Texas. He was 53.
Mark was born April 2, 1959, in Boonville, a son of Albert Franklin and Cornelia Belle Windsor Smith. He was employed as a construction project manager.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Albert and Alice Smith of Boonville; a brother Russell W. Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas, and by two nephews, Britt and Connor Smith.
He was preceded in death by his mother Cornelia Windsor Smith.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m., Wednesday, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin with Rev. Don Woods officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
