Glasgow resident Bob Wilson died Feb. 15, 2013, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He was 80.
Robert Lee Wilson, Jr. was born Feb. 16, 1932, in Fayette, to Robert L. and Mary Eva (Hayes) Wilson. Bob married Ella Marie Monnig April 27, 1957.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, five daughters, Becky (Joe) Thompson, Debby Ferguson, Sherry (Sonny) Shive and Tammy (Tommy) Yung, and Cindy (Mark) Hall, one sister, Betty (William) Meyer and a sister-in-law, Mary Wilson, 17 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and four great step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Wilson.
A funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in Washington Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary School or Glasgow Athletic Department in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home.
