Fayette resident Linda Suzanne Marriott died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. She was 48.
Ms. Marriott was born in Fayette on Nov. 19, 1964, the daughter of Henry R. and Martha Shields Mallinckrodt. She was a graduate of Fayette High School and held the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Central Methodist University. Well known for her work as cashier at McDonald’s Restaurant in Fayette, Suzie was also an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery work, and quilting. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church.
Surviving are her mother, Martha Marshall of Fayette and her brother, Michael Mallinckrodt of the state of Virginia. Other survivors include her sister-in-law, Donna Mallinckrodt of Fayette, two nieces; Teresa Mallinckrodt and Kimberly Mallinckrodt, and a number of cousins and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, her step-father, Marion Marshall, and her brother Ron Mallinckrodt.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Gary Weisberg officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
