Verdun Bradley passed away June 5, 2013, at Rest Haven in Fayette. She was 92.

Verdun F. Bradley was born July 5, 1920, in Bee Branch, Ark., to Tim and Earl (Jones) Fitzjerell. She graduated from Bee Branch High School.  Verdun married Henry T. Bradley Jan. 19, 1946, in Conway, Ark., and he preceded her in death March 24, 1987. Mrs. Bradley was a cook at the Clark Middle School for a number of years. She enjoyed growing flowers and gardening. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Ron Bradley of Chillicothe, Mo., and Don (Donna Sue) Bradley of Mesa, Ariz., 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

There will be a graveside service 1 p.m., Saturday at the Fayette City Cemetery with Rev. Paula Ritchie officiating and Tom and Bryan Bradley, Austin and Travis Sharp and Ronald Bradley serving as pallbearers.
