Edith Iona Neville of Hartsburg passed away Oct. 13, 2013, at her home. She was 76.

She was born Oct. 21, 1936, in Glasgow, the daughter of Frank and Edna Dodson Rose. She married William Neville on Oct. 20, 1951, and he preceded her in death. She considered Peace United Church of  Christ her home church. She worked for Keller Hospital in Fayette for 20 years and retired from Lenoir Nursing home.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Morse, husband Steve of Ashland, Angie Begemann, husband Gregg of Hartsburg, and Theresa Pulley, husband Dan of Bunceton; one son, Jerry Neville; three sisters, Elsie Smithson of Columbia, Ruby Haley of Glasgow, and Betty Rodenberg of Kansas City; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Melissa Fuemmeler; two brothers, Frank Elvis Rose and Bennie Rose; two sisters, Francis Mayberry and Ida Mae Neef.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at Peace United Church of Christ in Hartsburg at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Washington Memorial Cemetery in Glasgow. Visitation will be at Robinson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society or to Peace United Church of Christ in care of the family.
