Herman Terrill entered into this life on July 16, 1927, and departed this life on Dec. 8, 2013, at his home in Glasgow.

He was born to Howard Terrill and Willie Mae Smith in Armstrong, MO. Herman later met the love of his life whom he married, Isabell Terrill, on Dec. 14, 1956. Under this marriage, 10 children were born along with one special daughter, Karen Enyard. He gave his life to Christ at an early age under the leadership of Sister Robeson. He later moved his membership to Lewis Chapel under Dr. J.L Thomas. Mr. Terrill worked for the GMO (Gulf, Mobile and Ohio) Railroad for several years, and later retired from Monnig Industries after working there for twenty plus years. 

He leaves behind a wife of 56 years, Isabell Terrill of the home; five sons, Phillip Brown of the home, Richard (Tammy) Terrill of Marshall, Mo., Alan and Anthony, both of Wichita, Kan., and Stacy (Ruthie) Terrill of Glasgow Mo.; five daughters Mary Terrill of Ferguson Mo., Marcina Bikar and Sally Ward of Wichita, Kan., Teresa (Garry) Jackson of Wichita Kan., and Crystal Terrill of Glasgow; three brothers Howard Terrill of Fayette, John H. Terrill and William R. Terrill, both of Kansas City, Mo.; five sister-in-laws, Louie Lewis, Marquita Henry, Recolia Grayson of Kansas City, Mo., Ina (Clarence) Payne, Patricia (Jack) Martin of Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers-in-law, John (Ruby) Brown of Pine Bluff, Ark., Roger (Shelia) Brown of Belton, Mo., and David Brown of Kansas City, Kan.; 22 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, Herman was preceded in death by one brother, Homer, one sister, Grace, and one grandson Nicholas Terrill.

Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Chapel in Glasgow, with Brother Garry Jackson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Burial will follow the service at Roanoke Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Forest Green, Mo.
