Sheila Craig Pennington, of Glasgow, passed away March 29, 2014, at her home. She was 62 years old.

Sheila was born Oct. 24, 1951, to Robert Wells Craig and Audrey Colvin Craig. She married Chuck Pennington in New Franklin on Dec. 31, 2005, and he preceded her in death Nov. 21, 2007. She was employed with the State of Missouri Division of Family Services for 27 years as an eligibility specialist. Sheila was a resident of Howard County her entire life. She loved living in the country and was raised on a farm south of Glasgow.

Survivors include her daughter, Julie Allen of Glasgow; her mother, Audrey (Mary Dell) Craig of New Franklin; her grandson, Dawson Allen Watts of Glasgow and step-children, Danny Allen and Leslie Allen, both of New Franklin.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wells Craig; her brother, Kenny Craig and her grandparents Oren and Becky Colvin and Robert and Edna Craig who were Howard County residents and farmers.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at Boonesboro Cemetery.
