Robert Eugene Ridenour found peace with his Lord Saturday, May 31, 2014, at University Hospital, Columbia, Mo.

“Bob” was born April 7, 1944, in Bedford, Ind., the son of George Arnold and Mabel (Grant) Ridenour. He married Eva Monfort, July 13, 1965, in Hammond, Ind.

Survivors include daughter, Angelina (Wade) Monckton and their two grandchildren, Lesley and Erik Monckton, of Fayette, Mo.; former wife, Eva Monfort Ridenour, of Armstrong, Mo., as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother and step-father who helped raise him, Noble Deavers, his sister Dawn Brewer, and his favorite nephew Dale Brewer.

Bob served his county in the U.S. Army during the pre-Vietnam era. He was a retired Computer Aided Engineer. Having lived in Arizona as a child and then again for 10 years as an adult, Robert had great love for the desert and mountains.

There will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Ashland Cemetery, southeast of Fayette, with Rev. Paula Ritchie officiating.
