Kelsi Emma Ahlfield, 20, of New Franklin, passed away June 7, 2014 at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

Kelsi Emma Ahlfield was born Aug. 23, 1993, the daughter of Charles Ahlfield and Jennifer Overby. Kelsi led a challenging life due to various health problems and people changed for the better just by knowing her. Kelsi attended Delmar Cobble State School in Columbia. She enjoyed roller skating and playing on the trampoline.

Kelsi is survived by her parents, Jennifer Burnett of New Franklin and Charles and Terri Ahlfield of Atascadero, Calif., and by her brothers; Jacob Ahlfield and Justin Koen of Antascadero, Calif. and sisters; Mallori Burnett of New Franklin and Jorden Pahler of Antascadero, Calif.; her grandparents, Emma Overby of East Prairie, Mo.; Charles Ahlfield, Sr. of Sikeston, Mo., and Elsie Houseman of Anniston, Mo., and her great-grandmother, Margie Ahlfield of Anniston. She also leaves behind her loving aunts; Lisa Overby and Lorrie Stinnet both of East Prairie, Mo., Cathy Hutchison of Farmington, Mo. and Jamie Sneeringer of Anniston, Mo. and uncles, Wayne Sneeringer and Justin Weyand, both of Anniston.

Visitation for Kelsi was held at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville from 6 until 8 o’clock on Monday, June 9th. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10th at Davis Funeral Chapel. Burial followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.
