Carl Rude, formerly of Boonville, died Tuesday (Oct. 27, 2009) at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Riverside, Mo. He was 86.

Born March 12, 1923, in Monroe City, he was the son of Harry L. and Geneva Welbern Rude.

On Feb. 26, 1944, he married Vivian L. Gillman in Fayette and she preceded in death.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church in  Boonville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Rocheport Cemetery.
