Harvey Linneman
 

Lifelong Forest Green resident, Harvey Herman Linneman died Sunday (Jan. 31, 2010) at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He was 72.

Born Nov. 14, 1937, at Forest Green, he was the son of Herman and Letha (Spellman) Linneman.  He attended Forest Green and Salem Lutheran schools.  He graduated from Glasgow High School in 1955.  On July 27, 1968 he married Pattie L. Stine at Salem Lutheran Church.  

He had served on several council offices at Salem Lutheran Church.  He was a current MFA Oil Co. board member, board member of the Lower Chariton River Levee District, and was an MFA AgriService delegate.  He was a former committee member of the Chariton County ASCS, former Glasgow Co-op board member, and Glasgow Rural Fire District board member.  He served as an MP in the National Guard. He farmed in Chariton County.

Mr. Linneman is survived by his wife, Pattie Linneman of Glasgow, two aunts, Daisy Easterhaus of Golden Living Center in Glasgow and Ethel Sanders of Kansas City, MO; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Visitation  will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Chapel in Glasgow. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday,  at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Laurence Carlson officiating.  Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery with pallbearers, Jeffrey Gebhardt, Jeremiah Gebhardt, Eric Hafemeister, Gary Kallmeyer, Willard Sanders and Mike White.

Memorial donations may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home, 112 Market St., Glasgow, MO 65254.
