Bill Nolke died suddenly July 17, 2012 at his home in Kansas City, Mo. He was 62 years of age.
William Eugene (Bill) Nolke, Jr. was born February 2, 1950 in Boonville, Mo. to William Eugene and Helen (Brand) Nolke, Sr. In 1968, he graduated from St. Joseph High School in Salisbury, Mo. Bill found his most enjoyment in his life when listening to classic rock music, sipping his coffee with family and friends and loving his cats and dogs. He was an advocate for autistic children and worked as a Service Coordinator for the State of Missouri Department of Mental Health for 27 years. Bill was a big man with an even bigger heart.
He is survived by his sister Judy Bentley of Glasgow; nephew Kyle Bentley and his wife Barbara and their children, Lucas and Madison of Crane, Mo.; niece Laurie Kaylor and her children, Jasmine, Jace, and Jayden Matthews; all of Kansas City, Mo. He is also survived by a close friend, Maureen Tarwater of the home.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow with Father Jerry Stockman officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
Memorials are suggested to Cancer Research or the Coalition for Independence in care of the funeral home.
