Howard County resident Bob Perkins passed away Aug. 8, 2012. He was 54.
Robert Howard Perkins was born Feb. 12, 1958, in Columbia, to William Donald and Betty R. (McClelland) Perkins. He attended Linn State Technical College. Bob moved to Howard County in 2001. He enjoyed fishing, making and creating things and working with his tools. Bob loved children and being with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Perkins of Centralia; two daughters, Casey Sankey of Washington, Mo., and Christine Perkins of Boonville, one step-daughter, Melissa Williams of Boonville, five grandchildren, Oliva, Elixis, Anna, Raven and Scarlet, three sisters, LaDonna Perkins of Hallsville, Linda Poland, of Lake Ozark, Brenda Howell of Hallsville, and one brother, Jim Perkins of Indiana.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Harold Young officiating.
Memorials are suggested to Family’s Choice in care of the funeral home.
