Donald “Hubba” Frehse, age 32, of Boonville and formerly of Fayette, passed away Sept. 23, 2012, at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

Hubba was born in Boonville, on Dec. 13, 1979, a son of Thomas Frehse and Guindlin Hilderbrand Frehse. He was a construction worker building steel buildings and he enjoyed rock hunting, especially collecting arrowheads.

Survivors include his father, Thomas Frehse of Fayette; his mother, Guindlin Hilderbrand Frehse of Boonville; a daughter, Hannah Nicole Robertson Frehse of Boonville; grandmother, Maggie Hilderbrand of New Franklin;  a brother, Douglas Frehse of Fayette; a nephew, Kaden Polson of Fayette; four uncles, Curtis, Tom and Darren Hilderbrand all of Fayette; and Bill Frehse of Eldon; an aunt, Mary Sheets of Columbia and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Ilene Frehse and maternal grandfather Donald Hilderbrand.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Carr-Yager Funeral Home in Fayette. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, at Boonesboro Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Boonesboro Cemetery Association.

I'm so sorry for the family's loss. Our family grew up with Tommy, Bill and Mary and I hate to hear of their loss. My deepest sympathies!
