Willard “Bert” Chipley, Sr., of Boonville, died at his home on Sept. 26, 2012. He was 80 .
He was born in Estil, Mo., on Sept. 11, 1932, to John Willard and Nora Ellen Jackson Chipley. On Dec. 5, 1958, he married Gail Gilpin and she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Willard Shaw Chipley, Jr. of Columbia; two daughters, Nora Lee Chipley Barteau and Tina Marie Chipley Larm both of Boonville; a brother, Jack Chipley of New Franklin; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.
