Tim Diehls died Dec. 2, 2012, in rural Fayette. He was 54.

Timothy Scott Diehls was born Jan. 11, 1958, in Fort Atkinson, Wis., to Evan A. and Mary C. (Rinehimer) Diehls.  He graduated from Fayette High School in 1976. He received a BS Degree from Central Methodist College and also graduated with a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Rockhurst in Kansas City.  He was a member of the Fayette – Howard Lodge  #4  A.F. & A.M.

Tim worked in the corporate world for years but his true love was the outdoors.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Diehls; two daughters, Victoria (Chad) Peterson and Eva (Nick) James, one granddaughter, Ellie Nicole Peterson; four brothers, Evan, Charles, Steven and Andrew (Christy) Diehls; two nieces, Chelsea and Cori Diehls and one nephew, Evan Diehls.  

Besides his father he was preceded in death by one niece, Melissa Diehls and one great infant nephew Charles Walter Diehls.

There will be a brief graveside service, 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8 at Sharon Cemetery, east of Armstrong with Rev. Paula Ritchie officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Fayette Food Pantry, Sharon Cemetery or a charity of your choice in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home, 174 Hwy 5 & 240 N,  Fayette, MO 65248.
