• MT. PLEASANT CHRISTIAN CHURCH (Disciples of Christ) will host a chili and soup day, Saturday, Feb. 13, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The menu consists of chili, vegetable soup, relish tray, dessert and beverage. A donation of $5 is requested to help with the upkeep of the historical building established in 1854. The church is located on Route A, 4 miles north of the junction with Highway 124 or 8 miles south of Higbee.
• THE FAYETTE SENIOR CENTER will host a Soup & Sandwich Fundraiser Sunday, Feb. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Potato soup, chili, pimento cheese sandwiches and giant hot dogs. $6/meal. Bake sale at the door. All proceeds will benefit the center.
• FREE TICKETS TO MU WOMEN’S HOME BASKETBALL GAMES are available at Merchants and Farmers Bank. Mizzou will play in the Mizzou Arena Feb. 7, Feb. 13, Feb. 23 and March 7.
