The moratorium on outdoor burning that had been imposed during the last week by the Howard County Fire Protection District was lifted Thursday following recent rains. Howard County residents are still asked to call the central dispatch office at 248-3605 for updates on burn conditions ' and also to let the office know the location of any burns which are planned.
