A 15-year-old Fayette boy is still missing after more than a week.
Jarvis Dancy was reported missing by his mother, Helen Dancy, on Tuesday. She told police she had last seen him at 3 p.m. Feb. 13 before leaving for work. When she returned home Feb. 15, he was not home. His clothes were missing as well. It is believed he ran away.
Ms. Dancy said she tried to locate him among family and friends, but none knew of his whereabouts.
An anonymous witness told police that Jarvis had traveled with a friend to Whitegate Apartments in Columbia.
Jarivs is a 5-foot-8-inch black male, last seen wearing a black coat and black and white Nike shoes. He has a small scar on his stomach from a gall bladder surgery and a small scar near his right eyebrow.
