To the Editor:

I am writing to confirm I have filed for the office of Alderman of the Southwest Ward in the City of Fayette.  Two other individuals have filed for election to this seat, which is to be decided on April 8, 2025. I thank them both for their willingness to serve and want everyone to know I did not file against either of them, but rather, for the position. I believe, as a long-time resident, business owner, and active volunteer I have a unique set of experiences to share, as well as an understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our community, that may be useful at this time.

My priorities include improving our infrastructure, fortifying our business retention, expansion, and attraction efforts, and ensuring effective and transparent management/governance. Over the coming months, I will be asking residents of the Southwest Ward for their support, but I look forward to meeting with all citizens to discuss their concerns and learn more about their visions for our community.
