Dear Fayette Community,
Please consider joining us for the annual membership meeting of Howard County Health and Wellness Council on Thursday October 5th at 7 p.m. at the Keller Memorial Building Conference Room. We will be discussing goals for the coming year. The Universal Playground project is nearing completion thanks to the help of the Fayette Optimist Club taking over its construction. The Fayette Community Garden on Silvey Street yielded a harvest of vegetables thanks to the hard work of volunteers. Lue Lockridge Lane and Dr. Hope Tinker coordinated a large community health fair this past spring. Do you have an idea for a project in your Howard County community for 23-24? Bring your ideas to the meeting.
The dues are $20 for individual, $30 for a family or $50 for organization and are set aside for Howard County community based projects. We meet quarterly and as needed. We’d love to see you in person, or you may send your dues to HCHWC Treasurer Bekki Galloway, 304 W Spring St., Fayette MO 65248.
We appreciate your support,
Marsha Broadus, President
Cheryl Adams, Secretary
Bekki Galloway, Treasurer
