Central Methodist junior forward Alessandro Salvadego was tabbed as this week's Heart Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday.

The Belluno, Italy native scored four goals on 12 shots in two Eagle wins last week. Salvadego scored one goal in CMU's 5-0 shut out of Culver-Stockton Wednesday, firing off eight shots including four on goal in only 39 minutes of action.

Against Mount Mercy Saturday, he recorded his first career hat trick in a Central uniform, collecting three goals on four shots including a penalty kick.

It marks the first career conference player of the week honor for Salvadego.

The Eagles are a perfect 5-0 on the year and 2-0 in the Heart. Central continues its three-game road trip with a match against Evangel University Wednesday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Springfield, Missouri.
