CMCA Invites citizens to community conversation

Posted

To the editor,

My name is Cheri Cherry, and I am the community organizer for Howard and Cooper Counties on behalf of Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA).

I wrote recently to invite Howard County community members to a conversation we held in July to prioritize the needs of Howard County. At that meeting, the group wanted to review CMCA's data again before pinpointing a priority area. We also learned about an additional community assessment survey, and this pause will give our agency a chance to combine the findings of the two survey results to make a more informed decision.

We will reconvene on August 17 to review and vote on an area of need. If time allows, the group will compose a “bumper sticker” result statement highlighting the goal the partners hope to achieve and the indicators we will use to track our success.

We invite community members and interested stakeholders to join our luncheon to share input on the top priority areas from 12-2 on Thursday, August 17 in the Keller Building conference room, 600 W Morrison St, Fayette, MO.

Interested residents are encouraged to RSVP to cheric@cmca.us or dial 660-882-5601 ext 1004.

 Sincerely,

Cheri Cherry, CMCA
