County Clerk reminds voters of absentee deadlines

Howard County Clerk Shelly Howell reminds voters that they can cast absentee ballots for the upcoming April 7 election. The deadline to request a ballot by mail is Wednesday, March 25. Absentee voting in the Clerk’s office in the Howard County Courthouse will remain open through April 6.

The Clerk’s office will also be open for voting from 8 a.m. to noon on April 4, the Saturday prior to the April 7 election.

As of the printing of this newspaper, the April 7 election will go on as planned.
