The Howard County Health & Wellness Council will host its 2025 Health & Wellness Fair this Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Fayette High School gymnasium, 510 North Cleveland Street.

This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and offers a wide array of health and wellness resources designed to support healthier living in Howard County.

Attendees will have access to free health screenings, including blood pressure, A1C, EKG, and oxygen saturation checks. The fair will also feature hands-on CPR demonstrations, STI prevention education, harm reduction tools, and pre-diabetes resources.

In partnership with the LFPA Pop-Up Distribution, food boxes will be available for pickup, and a live meal preparation demo will highlight how to create healthy meals using the items provided. In the afternoon, a demo of interactive exercises will encourage attendees to get moving and incorporate simple fitness routines into daily life.

More than 25 community organizations will participate, sharing resources on physical and mental health, nutrition, insurance coverage, family services, and more. Emergency vehicles will also be on-site for children to explore, offering an engaging learning opportunity about local public safety services.

The event will include booth giveaways, door prize raffles, and light refreshments for all who attend.

“The Health & Wellness Fair is about more than just screenings—it’s about making lasting connections to resources that can truly improve lives,” said a representative from the Health & Wellness Council. “We invite the entire community to join us for a day of learning, sharing, and healthy fun.”
