New Franklin, MO resident, Dan Taylor, 62, passed away at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO on December 31, 2021.
Daniel Lee Taylor was born at Lee Hospital in Fayette, MO on December 19, 1959, a son to Gail and Virginia (Johnmeyer) Taylor. He graduated from Fayette High School with the class of 1977. Dan worked in construction early in his career, and as a farmhand for many years. He had a soft gentle heart, and gave great bear hugs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia Taylor of Fayette, MO; sister, Trish (Tyra) Elliott of Fayette, MO; brother, Nick (Linnie) Taylor of Fayette, MO; nieces and nephews, Samantha Kempf, Brittany Elliott, Ian, Terry and Chelsea Taylor; and Deana Brown’s family, including 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Dan was preceded in death by the love of his life, Deana Brown, and his father, Gail Taylor.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
