Diana Louise Wyatt, 82, of New Franklin, passed away on February 4, 2024, at The Lodge in Fayette.
Diana was born on November 24, 1941, in Rocheport, Missouri. She was the daughter of Hugh and Marie Gardner. Diana attended New Franklin High School, graduating in 1960. She married Jimmie L. Wyatt in July 1961.
Diana loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. As a young mother, Diana enjoyed coaching her daughter’s softball teams, and later watching and cheering for the New Franklin Bulldogs. She had a passion for animals and had many cherished pets throughout her life. Prior to retirement, Diana worked at the University of Missouri.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Marie Gardner, and her beloved daughter Anjie.
She is survived by her husband Jimmie, her son Darrin (Marlene), and her grandsons Jared and Ian. She is also survived by her sister, Sandy McLane of Hallsville, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at Riverside Christian Church in Boonville, Mo., on Saturday, February 10, 2024. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m.with funeral services beginning at 11.
Memorial contributions are suggested to either Big Springs Cemetery or the New Franklin Youth Athletic Association.
