Fayette First Christian Church (DOC) is excited to announce the calling of Rev. Kerry Kesey as the new minister for their congregation. She began her ministry with First Christian Church in July 2021.
Kerry Kesey grew up in Oregon and northwest Arkansas. She graduated from Northwest Christian College, now Bushnell University, in Eugene, Oregon with a degree in Church, Society and Family. She received her Master’s of Divinity from Lexington Theological Seminary in 1999 and went on to serve churches in Kansas, Washington state, and Hawaii.
Prior to accepting her call to Fayette, Rev. Kesey served as Pastor to Englewood Christian Church in Yakima, Washington.
Rev. Kesey will be officially installed in a ceremony at Fayette First Christian Church led by Disciples of Christ Regional Minister Rev. Dr. Paul Koch at 3 p.m. on October 3. The public is invited.
