Fayette Mayor Kevin Oeth confirmed that he has tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Test results for Oeth and his wife, Barbie, came back positive on Thursday, January 14. They have been quarantined in their home ever since.
Oeth did not preside over the City Council meeting on January 19.
Oeth also serves as the Advertiser’s Sports Editor, which is expected to affect coverage in the short term.
