Forty-six graduates walked across the stage at the annual Fayette High School commencement ceremony Sunday afternoon. Alumnus and former Fayette teacher and coach Kristen Hough delivered the commencement address.
Possibly the most celebrated graduate was Will Beaman, who received a standing ovation from his classmates as he walked across the state. For more than a year Beaman has been battling leukemia, which has forced him to miss out on many of the traditional rites of passage afforded high school seniors.
