Firemen’s Sweetheart Dance turns 40

The Fayette Volunteer Fire Department will host its 40th annual Sweetheart Dance on Saturday, February 4. 

The dance has been held yearly for four decades as a fundraiser for the department. Proceeds are used to purchase life-saving equipment.

The band, Suthurn Justus, will provide live entertainment. 

The event will run from 8 p.m. to midnight on February 4. The cost to attend is $12 per couple, or $6 for individuals. 

Set-ups will be available. No persons under the age of 21 will be admitted.
