THE FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH in Fayette once again served its annual community Christmas dinner on December 25. Approximately 50 people dined at the church, while another 44 meals were delivered. This year, the youth group from the Second Baptist Church in Fayette were welcomed volunteers for the dinner. Another new item, bags of fruit and candy, courtesy of Lue Lockridge-Lane, were distributed to diners and with delivered meals.

Right: Lauraetta Lockridge Lane (right) loads up a meal to be delivered. Dishing up the meals were left to right: Adrienne and Bill Thies, Marsha Broadus, and Jeri Mattson.
