Are you looking for adventure, exercise, and to make new friends? Get all at once at the Fayette Golf Course; league nights are on Thursdays at 5:30.
Members of the golf course compete weekly, playing nine holes. They can enter several side games, such as longest drive/longest putt, low score, and handicap competition. Scores are recorded each night and used at the end of the season to calculate the player’s handicap for the Club Championship on August 25th.
The Club also offers a couple’s league and tournament at the end of the season. “We want to offer players at all levels, and even adult beginners, an opportunity to play and learn the game as they get to know other community members,” said Leah Flaspohler, the course president.
We also offer several tournaments throughout the summer. “We use the tournaments to raise funds for the course operation and special causes dear to our golf community,” Flaspohler said.
It’s not too late to join. Contact any member or visit the Fayette Golf Course Facebook page for more information.
