Harrisburg built a 40-0 lead early in the second quarter and went on to a 72-22 win at Russellville on Friday night.
Wyatt Robinson scored six touchdowns on just 12 carries. He averaged over 25 yards per carry and finished with 322 total rushing yards.
Quarterback Tanner Lanes threw just seven times, but three of his four completions went for touchdowns. Jace Carr finished with three receptions for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
Robinson’s sixth touchdown rush of the night put Harrisburg ahead 64-14 late in the first half. Dayton Samuels caught a 10-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to complete the scoring.
The 72 points were a new program-high for Harrisburg, eclipsing the total set in a 56-26 win over the Missouri Military Academy in 2019.
Gavin Curtis had a 46-yard rush and finished with 55 total rushing yards. Curtis also had seven tackles, a sack and two tackles for loss. Tanner Fike led the defense with 10 tackles, two for loss, and a sack. Robinson had seven tackles and an interception. Samuels had five tackles and also picked off a pass.
Brayton Stephenson had six tackles, including three tackles in the Indians’ backfield. Logan Fritts and Braden Wyatt each had seven tackles. Justus Whitaker had six tackles and Bryce Rowden had five tackles and a sack.
