Jeffery Earl Malizia, 71, of Rocheport, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at his home.

Jeff was born on May 1, 1950, in Highland Park, Illinois, son of Earl and Helen (Weisenborn) Malizia. After graduating from Hickman High School, Jeff worked as a car mechanic, opening H & M Automotive in 1991. Jeff married the love of his life, Janell Martin, on February 7, 2009.

Jeff had a passion for the outdoors and his hobbies included hunting and fishing. He loved sports, especially baseball and softball, and even coached his daughter’s softball team. Jeff was a loyal friend to all who knew him, and he put his family above all else. He always said he may not be rich in money, but he was rich in friends and family.

Jeff is survived by his wife Janell, daughters Amber and Brad Wilhelm of Dickinson, Texas; Heidi Malizia of Webster, Texas; Erin Weires and Bud Weiser of Columbia, Missouri; and Kathryn and Frank Flaspohler of Fayette, Missouri; grandchildren Frank Flaspohler, Gracelyn Flaspohler, Abigail Flaspohler, Colby Wilhelm, Eleanor Flaspohler, and Daylee Wilhelm; and sister Lynn Malizia of Scottsdale, Arizona. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Friemonth-Freese in Fayette Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Ducks Unlimited.
