Area golfers will again have the chance to compete on the fairways while benefitting the Fayette High School golf program. The 17th annual Kenny Blakely Classic Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, August 13, at the Fayette Golf Course.
The tournament is always a popular event at the Fayette course, which features sand greens.
The four-person scramble will cost $200 per team, for $50 per person. The fee includes lunch and water. Golfers are welcome to bring coolers. Carts will be available for rent for $50.
Registration for the event will begin at 8:30 a.m. The tournament will kick off with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
