The Kids’ Market will return to downtown for a special event this Saturday. It will coincide with Central Methodist University’s Family Day.
Young businesspersons from around Howard County will be on the courthouse sidewalk from 9 to 11 a.m. selling a multitude of products from chocolate and baked goods to crafts and jewelry.
The event was spearheaded by Liz Daugherty and ran during the first two Saturdays of June, July, and August over the summer, growing in size each time. Presented by Fayette Main Street, Inc., the Kids’ Market will be back next summer.
Dougherty said she is considering holding the event once more this year before the holidays.
