Pamela Sue Carlson, age 70, of Fayette, passed away on January 6, 2023, at Lakeview Nursing Center in Boonville.
Pam was born in Decatur, Illinois, on August 21, 1952, a daughter of Walter and Elsie Stiltz Dietz. She married David Carlson in 1974, and he survives. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking, canoeing, and animals. Pam also liked to go shopping for clothes and shop for and collect antiques.
Most of all, Pam loved her family, her church family at Faith Family, and her friends.
Survivors include her husband, David; two sons, Cy and Milo; two daughters, Shawna and Brie and a sister, Vicki Lynn Rock. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Isaac, Joseph, David, Kanen, Abla, Charis, Tobias, Elijah, Micah, Eden, Beriah, Asher, and Caleb, and a great-grandson, Malcolm.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services honoring Pam’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Carr-Yager Funeral Home in Fayette. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Faith Family Church.
