A Fayette man is in serious condition after he was struck by a car Friday morning.
According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, David N. Moore, 67, was walking against traffic in the roadway where Lucky and Vine Streets intersect when he was struck by a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, driven by Cayley E. Hollon, 20, from Boonville.
Moore was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
The Highway Patrol performed an accident reconstruction and is investigating the crash.
