The Fayette Rotary Club honored four Fayette High School students at their regular meeting on September 20. Senior Emma Chew, junior Toniya Boone, sophomore Malia McCutcheon, and freshman Wyatt Symes were named Students of the Month in October.
Each month during the school year for over 50 years the Fayette Rotary Club has welcomed Fayette High School Students of the Month to one of its meetings. The purpose of the Student of the Month program is to acknowledge students who have made positive accomplishments, received some type of awards, or who have distinguished themselves in some positive manner. The students are chosen by the Student of the Month committee, which consists of both high school students and high school faculty. Billie Williams is chairperson of this committee.
