The State of Missouri will hold its annual sales tax holiday for school supplies August 6-8 this year.
Purchases that qualify for the tax holiday include clothing, school supplies, computers and other items as defined by the State of Missouri.
Towns and counties may opt out of participating in the annual holiday, and several in the area have done so this year. Fayette, Boonville, Marshall, Moberly, and Jefferson City have opted out this year. Fulton is participating in the tax holiday, as are Kansas City and St. Louis.
